Delete your data
You can delete your Rawly account and everything stored with it at any time, for free.
In the app (fastest)
- Open Rawly and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
The deletion happens straight away. If you signed in with Apple, Rawly also asks Apple to remove Rawly's access to your Apple Account.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email getrawly@gmail.com from the email address of your Rawly account with the subject "Delete my Rawly account". We may ask you to confirm the request from that address before deleting, so nobody else can delete your account. We complete requests within 30 days, usually much sooner.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details.
- Your profile and onboarding answers.
- Allergens, diets, ingredients to avoid and household members, including children's profiles.
- Your diary, daily averages and weekly cards.
- Notification settings and device tokens, and Rawly's record of your subscription status.
- Your consent records.
We keep a short record that an account was deleted, without any of its content, for two years as proof that we acted on the request. Encrypted database backups are overwritten within 30 days, after which no copy remains.
Your subscription is not cancelled automatically. It is billed by Apple: cancel it in Settings → your name → Subscriptions.
Get a copy of your data
In the app: Profile → Export my data saves everything stored for your account as a machine-readable file. You can also ask by email.
